As a boudoir photographer, I see this as a unique opportunity to empower my clients to be their sexiest, most confident selves possible. Without me even trying, a boudoir session presents organic opportunities for empowerment. From the primping and pampering through hair and makeup, the carefully curated looks/outfits, lingerie and jewelry they adorn, the sexy poses we coach them in, to even the sensual ambiance in our boudoir locations - all these things contribute to that empowerment. Obviously boudoir means bedroom, but to me it means so many things... It's about celebrating you as a woman and bringing out your inner goddess. It doesn't have to be in a bedroom — it can be wherever you want it to be. It's more about you than the lingerie. Cultivating sex appeal and looking great naked is not about crash dieting or Photoshop, but rather is about a woman’s attitude, confidence, playful personality, and feeling good in her own skin. As a principal practice - I DO NOT put you and your images through a "Photoshop Makeover" process. After our professional hair and makeup artist prepares you for your photo session, I simply don't see any sense of making your skin look like a porcelain doll... and those "acrylic", strange over-brighten eyes... Nope. Not my style of showcasing YOU. I want you to look at your images and LOVE what you see, not what Photoshop makes you look like.
